hi anon! it’s not dumb at all, please !! new languages are difficult to parse, and i personally still struggle to understand what sort of code i’m looking at when i’m looking at someone else’s work…or my own if it’s been more than three days since i revisited it.

i’ve gone ahead and compiled a few comments and all into a google doc, which i’m hoping will be useful. i’ve tried to point out some parts that might be of interest when customising the template and broke the stylesheet into (hopefully??) more coherent chunks, and also breezed over things that you don’t really have to worry about unless you want to edit the structure of the template entirely.

the doc isn’t meant to be a comprehensive “how does css work” kind of guide, since imo there’s a lot more guides out there on google that do a much better job than me of explaining, but if you’re struggling with implementing a particular concept into twine / editing something, feel free to drop another ask or ping me on discord.
